OzTaboo was built by Australians who claims that it's better than Facebook and Myspace combined. That's difficult to confrm, but OzTaboo does provide you with more features than sites costing hundreds of dollars a year. You won't notice them when you first join because you'll be a Standard member and most things are hidden. Once you're a Premium member a whole world of exquisite decadence opens up to you.

FREEDOM

Unlike some adult sites, we have very few rules and regs, because the other thing I hate about the big commercial sites is their list of restrictions – you can't do this and you can't do that, avoid this, avoid that... As for photos I allow everything except kiddie porn, scat and extreme BDSM. I recommend that you keep your profile pics raunchy but not pornographic. Place porno photos in your photo gallery. The reason is obvious, young people could gain access to the site and then we're in trouble. Upload porn to your private gallery and that keeps everything nice and discreet.

A little bit of intelligence goes a long way!

Upload at least one sexy pic to your profile. Photo-blank profiles look so dull, and besides, no-one bothers to click on them. Really they're just a waste of space. If you don't have a photo of yourself, find a hot toon from the net (but don't try and fool people with a phoney photo!). You see our "surprise" toon on the left? It's better than blank, surely!

GENUINE ADS

I don't fabricate ads. I've been in the adult industry since 1981 and I'm gobsmacked when I notice new sites bursting onto the Australian market with 500,000 members! Impossible. It takes years and years to build up anything like that kind of membership. You can buy ready made contact sites from the USA and the more you pay the more phoney ads they provide you with. All you need is a team of homeworkers at $5 an hour to change Long Beach California to Bondi Beach Sydney, and so on.

What I can't do, and I warn you in advance, is guarantee that all the ads are from genuine people. I receive them in good faith but I have no way of telling whether the advertiser is genuinely looking for sex or just wanking you around. There is a big fantasy element in this business and you need to be aware of that. The "Hot sexy couple, wife can't get enough cock..." might be some frustrated man whose wife prefers cooking to cocking. He's getting his rocks of fantasising about a sexy wife who doesn't exist. I've got no control over that but if I find people doing it – I might not ban them because I'm not a profile Nazi – but I will put a little "phoney" sticker on their profile.

NOT JUST FOR TRANNIES

OzTaboo is for Swinging Couples and Singles, straight, gay or bi. At the moment crossdressers dominate and the reason is obvious – I am a transvestite and I invited my friends to join first.
